Science reveals that animals have little or no control over their sexual urges. Have you ever had the misfortune of going to the zoo during mating season? It can be disturbing.
But think about this, every animal has been preprogrammed to have a mating season. During mating season, they have sex. When it’s not mating season, they are not interested in sex.
- Emperor penguins have sex once a year for 2 – 3 minutes.
- Female porcupines are interested in sex about 8 – 12 hours a year! I wonder way!
- Drone bees only have sex once. That’s because their genitals explode and snap off inside the queen.
- Male gorillas live in troops of 5 – 30 females with which they mate all year long. Not very exciting for the ladies though, as his penis is only 1 1/2 inch long.
Animals mate by instinct and only for a season.
